Installing an EV charger involves more than mounting a unit on the wall. High Voltage Electrical evaluates your property’s electrical capacity, wiring path, and charger requirements before installation, so your charging station works reliably from day one.

EV Charger Installation
Level 1 and Level 2 EV charger and Tesla charger installation for homes and businesses.
WHY IT MATTERS
EV Charging Station Installer for Homes and Businesses
As an EV charging station installer, High Voltage Electrical evaluates your property’s existing panel capacity before recommending a charger location and circuit size. Some properties can support a Level 2 charger on the existing panel, while others need a panel upgrade first. Our electric vehicle charger services cover both residential garages and multi-vehicle commercial installations.
What Affects Your EV Charger Installation
- Your property’s existing panel amperage and available capacity
- The distance between your panel and the charger location
- Whether the charger is Level 1 or Level 2
- Indoor versus outdoor mounting requirements
- Whether multiple charging stations are needed, as with commercial properties

RECENT PROJECT
Multi-Station Commercial EV Charger and Service Overhaul
A commercial office park needed eight Level 2 EV charging stations, but the existing commercial subpanel was close to capacity. High Voltage Electrical designed a dedicated 400 amp subpanel with a smart load management system that balanced power according to active charging demand, supporting simultaneous charging for all eight vehicles without overloading the facility’s main transformer, according to the supplied project description. The project was completed over a weekend to reduce disruption to office tenants.

EV Charging FAQs
Do I need a panel upgrade for an EV charger?
Not every property needs a panel upgrade. Our electricians evaluate service capacity, existing loads, charger requirements, and possible load management options before recommending a solution.
Can you install an EV charger I already purchased?
The company must first confirm its policy on customer-supplied equipment. Any charger should be compatible with the property, electrical capacity, manufacturer requirements, and applicable code.
Can you install multiple EV chargers for a commercial property?
Yes. We design multi-station EV charging systems for office parks, multifamily properties, and other commercial sites, including load management solutions where needed.
